Owner, Master Stylist

Since a young age, Laura knew a career in cosmetology was meant to be. She’s always had a creative mindset and finds beauty in everything she sees. Where others might see basic colors, shades and pigments, Laura sees complex tones, shine, and potential. Her passion for hair and makeup is driven by the opportunity to bring out your inner beauty. It is not just a job; it’s a way of life.

Laura studied at Empire Beauty School in Laconia, NH, where she graduated top of her class and won an international hair competition, leading to her work being featured in fashion magazines throughout London and the UK. She’s been working in the beauty industry for over 13 years. Before starting her own business in 2016, Laura worked in a few different salons after graduating to continue to grow her skills and career, including one located on the high-end Newbury Street in Boston, MA. She always seeks to better herself and learn new techniques so that she can continue to offer her clients the best possible service. It is a dream come true to have opened The Beauty Hive in January 2022. Laura hopes to continue to build her own skill set, while also sharing her knowledge and experience with other stylists.

One of her top specialties is color. Laura is a Goldwell certified stylist and loves to experiment with fashion colors on her more adventurous clients, using brands like Guy Tang and Pulp Riot to achieve vibrant and beautiful colors.

Stylist & Makeup Artist

Kaylee brings a fresh and fun perspective to The Beauty Hive. She completed training at Toni&Guy Academy in Braintree, MA from 2019-2020 and received her license mid-pandemic in the fall of 2020. She always knew from a young age that she wanted to be in the beauty industry and she truly loves what she does! She can’t wait to see you behind the chair!

Junior Stylist

Paige is from Braintree, MA and found a passion for hair and makeup at a very young age as a dorky theater kid :) She attended Toni & Guy Hair Dressing Academy after high school and quickly decided she wanted to do and learn more! After achieving her cosmetology license, she dove head first into barbering education at Massachusetts School of Barbering. Paige is dual-licensed!

Paige believes that you can truly never run out of things to learn in this industry. She is dedicated to using both sides of her educational background to make you feel like the best and most confident version of yourself.
